Educational Leadership Induction Programs

Are you ready to advance your knowledge and skills through an induction program?

To meet the increasing demand for dynamic, highly qualified administrators, the Louisiana Educational Leaders Induction Program is designed to build the administrative, instructional, and professional knowledge and skills of newly appointed educational leaders.

This 8(g) funded, state-mandated program (Bulletin 741, Section 507) consists of various face-to face and online learning opportunities, including individual and cohort networking experiences. In addition, participants benefit from having access to a high quality mentor. The program focuses on the Standards for Educational Leaders in Louisiana, instructional leadership principles, and school improvement and data analysis techniques. In addition, participants broaden their knowledge of walk-around management.

Individuals who successfully complete an induction program are eligible for forty-five (45) Continuing Learning Units (CLUs). In addition, individuals who successfully complete an Induction Program are eligible to receive an upgraded certificate in accordance to Bulletin 746.
